Happy Halloween - Chipotle style

Ever since college, my favorite thing about Halloween is free burrito day at Chipotle.  The past 5 years I have dressed up in something ridiculous and hand made to walk proudly into my favorite little restaurant to get a free burrito.  Up until this year, the deal was to dress up in foil to get your free burrito.  You could be whatever you wanted, as long as you were dressed in foil!
Two years ago Justin and I were at a Chipotle in Michigan.  Justin was popeye-ish and I was love struck!

This year, Chipotle changed things up and you had to dress in something found on a farm to help raise awareness of their local and organic vegetables they use in their restaurants.  Also, instead of free burritos, they charged $2 and $1 was donated back to the farms.

We knew we didn't want to purchase anything for our costumes, so we had to get a little creative ;)

Husband is wearing a plaid shirt, work boots, hat and a fake corn stalk that was in his corn hole trophy cup from his company corn hole tournament! ...and he is too hungry to look up.
I wore Miley's rooster costume!  Luckily her hat fit me and I took the body part, tied it around my waist so the tail feathers were showing just below my white sweater.  Completed with tights and tan boots ;)
I never thought I would wear the same costume as Miley.  Especially in public at Chipotle.

I am slightly addicted to Chipotle!  I order the same thing every time:

Burrito bowl with:
  • rice
  • black beans
  • tomato
  • corn
  • cheese
  • guacamole
  • chips & tomato salsa
It might sound a little plain, but that's ok.  Any other Chipotle addicts out there?!  Don't tell me I am the only one {-wink}

Happy Halloween friends!
