This past weekend the Mr. and I traveled to St. Louis for a little vacation to round up 2012. My husband surprised me with tickets to the musical Wicked for my Christmas gift, and he thought why not see it in a city we have never been to!
I love the way my man thinks.
Justin and I really enjoy mini vacations and visiting new places. When it comes to trips, whether small or large, sometimes we can be a little impulsive. It's something I love about us.
Wicked, and St. Louis, did not disappoint. Justin and I had never seen Wicked, nor vacationed to St. Louis before, so this was an exciting trip. If you are unfamiliar with Wicked, it is the untold story of the witches of Oz. It was incredible, hilarious and unexpected. We were not aware going into the show that Wicked was so funny, and the singing was flawless.
As for St. Louis, I'm totally in love. We stayed in our first Bed & Breakfast and was within walking distance to the theater and Grand Center. Our first night there, we got dolled up, I put on my gold sparkly polka dot tights and heels, grabbed my husband's arm and walked to a nice restaurant across from the theater all while it was snowing.
For a moment, it felt like I was in a movie.

Actually, St. Louis is the furthest west I have vacationed so far!! Other than to Justin's family's house for a wedding in Texas. Our list of places to visit out west is pretty extensive.
That sounds so fun! Being spontaneous is a really valuable trait, imo. You look so pretty - glad you had a fun date!
