Stay Cation

This week Justin and I took vacation time away from work to spend some quality time together. Last week we bounced around ideas of where we would go, when we would leave and how long we would be gone, but the end result is that we decided to stay close to home and do a stay cation.  We were so looking forward to spending time together and relaxing, that as long as we were able to do that, we didn't care where it was.  This morning we talked about all the things we could do close to home, and I am so excited to just spend a lot of time with my man.

Today, we decided to drive to Cincinnati and go to Jungle Jim's; an international market that carries every single food item you can imagine!  We saw produce we didn't know existed, a selection of hot sauces that was a little bit ridiculous and imported candies that looked very enticing.  We decided to purchase some fancy cheese, chocolate bars we've never had and came home to enjoy a sushi dinner, snacks and a scrabble game night.
ahem, I might have won both games! ;)

Baby pineapples win the award for cutest fruit.

I can't remember what this is, but it was in the produce section.
To be honest, it kind of freaked me out a little!

You can buy live tilapia and other fish.

Ghost peppers...Apparently that hottest peppers you can buy?!
One of the hot sauce fixtures.  This wrapped around to the other side, and there
were two other stands with more options.

You shop the aisles by country.

This is one of the most interesting plants I have ever seen.
I can't remember the name of it, but it was $20 and is supposed to be a natural insect
killer.  Very interesting, and I wish I could tell you more, but my brain has forgotten.

I am just fascinated with the way this plant looks!

Today was a great day, and I am excited to see what's in store for us tomorrow!  Hope you all had a good Tuesday!
