While I was away...

Last week, I was a little out of touch with the online world.  I put my Etsy shop on vacation mode, packed up the pups and headed to my hometown to visit family.  You're probably thinking, didn't you just go to North Carolina?!  And the answer is yes, but a week later, I was still feeling the urge to get out of town.  

This seems to be my personality type; always a little stir crazy.  

A lot of my happiness comes from the people in my life; my husband, friends and family.  I always want more time with them, even if I just saw them.  Although I missed my husband terribly, it was really nice to spend the week with family.   Sometimes I struggle with only seeing them one weekend every 4-? weeks.  I know it could be worse, but even after 3 1/2 years of living away from home, I still have a hard time with it.  

Today I am feeling recharged after a week with family and a really great weekend with my husband.     

While I was away....

Miley gave me extra lovin.

I did a lot of antique shopping with my dad.

Good food was consumed.

I was introduced to an ah.mazing new fabric shop close to my hometown.  

Kids.  Always end up covered in icing before the birthday party is over.
