Road Trips

Road trips are one of my favorite things to do. The fact that you can pack up your car and be somewhere totally different in a matter of hours is very refreshing. I have always been the personality type where I feel I need to be doing something or going somewhere. I tend to get a little stir crazy if I am in the house for too long, and start to crave fresh air and a new environment.  Weekend trips to visit family, friends or sight see are always on my mind.

This past weekend, I headed to Durham, NC and spent some quality time with girlfriends, saw my friend's new house, puppy, school that she teaches at, watched movies, made some fresh lavender soap and ate delicious home cooked food. It was very nice to spend a full 3 days at the Rollings home.  I am already missing North Carolina.

I am now back in northeast Ohio and in my workspace creating a very long to-do list for the rest of the week.  It's good to be back in work mode and feeling inspired!

Oh my goodness, that's a puppy? He's huge! :-) I've always wanted to try making soap. Was it pretty easy to do?

Oooo homemade ice cream and soap? I have never made soap. I have always wanted to try to make some but I have no idea where to get the ingredients. Thanks for sharing. :)
